Trees and Tea – Monthly Themed Walk in Linn Park LNR

Trees and Tea is a free monthly themed nature walk in Linn Park Local Nature Reserve.  Happening on the third Friday of each month 10am -12pm.

Some of the themes we have had: Wildflowers, Butterflies, Trees, Plants, Fungi & Lichen, and the science of colours in Autumn.  After the walk we will stop off in one of W.I.L.D.s forest school sites for a hot drink, cake and a good chat.  Remember to bring a cup!

These sessions are free but booking is required.

Nature Natter @ Netherholm, Glasgow

August 22 to June 23  W.I.L.D. ran a weekly session to learn more about the natural world at and around Netherholm Community Hall.

Each week we covered a different aspect of the natural world around us from learning about healing plants to building bird boxes. Some weeks we headed out for nature walks and litter picks around Holmbyre, Bluebell Woods and Netherton Braes, other weeks we tried creative natural arts & crafts.

These sessions were funded by #GlasgowWellbeingFund
